Our Labor Day weekend was so great, I had to share this video. Our dear friend Laura made it to document what a wonderful time she had on board with us. Click here to see for yourself!
We spent a night at the luxurious Mission Bay Hyatt dock, sailed with the tall ships and some of the America’s Cup boats, enjoyed a beautiful tour of the San Diego Bay, and much more.
Thank you captain and crew:

Wshing you an “uncloudy day,”
Is that the name of a drink and a sandwich? No, it’s what we saw last weekend in San Diego at the Festival of Sail! Click on the link for a peek! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_DK4D03tL4
The blue water and sunny skies made for a wonderful day on the water. The temperature was a cool 75 degrees. I say cool because it’s going to be in the 90s or maybe even hit 100 here in the desert. I guess when I’m old and rich, I’ll live near the ocean. In the meantime, I’m content to sail away with friends for a few days!

Here’s to good friends and fair winds!

I am sorry to see the end of another great weekend. What a great time we all had! Good friends, good wine, good food, good sailing, good weather. It can’t get any better than that!
We were able to see the tall ships, naval ships, big ships, little ships. We even saw a few of the America’s Cup ships from years gone by. Now I remember why I love sailing in San Diego Harbor–it’s always alive with activity.
Thank you to Laura, Terry, Mary, Lee, Marian, Herb, Sharon, Jim, Jon and BETTY for making this such a special weekend!
